I spotted this supplier on instagram I was scrolling through one day when I was stopped in my scroll by this cake.-- Yes I know not your traditional wedding cake but I just love it.
At the time I didn’t know where she was based or who she was. It was just my luck she covers the area I work which made me even more excited and I couldn’t wait to get to know her.
Krista from Love Inlayers is from Australia and moved to the lovely South of France 3 years ago with her husband and 2 children this is when she started wedding cake designing as it works for her young family better than continuing as a full time chef like her husband.
I asked her the same questions I ask everyone as I think they really help future couples and also help me to get to know the amazing supplier.
How long have you worked in weddings?
This is my 3 rd year designing cakes for weddings, and absolutely love it!
Why do you love specialising in weddings?
I love working in weddings because ultimately you have the opportunity to make so many special memories for people.
What is your best wedding experience?
My favorite wedding experience was peaches & Tom’s wedding at chateau Rigaud, they were such fun people and gave allowed me to create the most epic wedding cake / macaron tower combination which has been idolized by many brides since!
Where is your favourite wedding location?
Chateau rigaud, hands down! Beautiful location, amazing staff, Absolute perfection!
Who is your favourite supplier?
Laura Cawte is my favorite supplier, gorgeous hair & makeup artist, so much experience!
What is your top tip for newly engaged couples?
My advice to engaged couples is trust your planner!! Weddings abroad can be stressful.. so let them have your back, you won’t regret it!
The wedding cake is such an important part to the day and after seeing Krista cakes I know who I would trust with mine. She can put her skills to any style of cake and is really modern and on trend with her designs.
