Domaine de la Fauconnie

Updated: Oct 30, 2020

This week's SUPPLIER SUNDAY is a venue that I do not do very often, as I only like to talk about venues that I have visited and the more venues I visit I find out so much more.... sometimes planners run wedding at venues they have never visited. which is not something I would ever like to do and in every package, it includes a site visit before YOUR wedding day.

I first saw just a picture of Domaine da la Fauconnie and I just had to find out where it was I loved it, for a French wedding venue it really stood out as being different. I was so pleased when I found out this amazing venue is only 45 minutes away from my house.

When I went to meet Tanja I was amazed by this venue and just how organised and set up for weddings this venue is. They have everything you could need there no need to hire tables, chairs or crockery. And unlike so many venues they also have different chairs for the ceremony and wedding breakfast meaning no one needs to move chairs which is great for everyone.

This Venue has set out places for the ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast which makes everything so much smoother but obviously if you wanted to do things different you still can.

Currently, this venue is big for French weddings, I really think English couples getting married in France are missing out its is a great location thats is only 20 minutes from Bergerac airport and close for additional accommodation for all your guests.

This stunning orangery can seat 200 people which is great for large weddings but can also look great for weddings for 60- 100 people. They also already have the lights and speakers which is amazing if you don’t want a DJ but still want a great party vibe after your band.

This is currently my favorite venue and I can’t wait to work there soon.
